Brilliant engineering - excellent product!
Really well-thought-out and well-made stand. The idea of gravity rise, that is you push down on the stand to raise the saw into position, is brilliant! anyone who suffers with their back will greatly appreciate this!
One of your other reviews, "dragoon", said this:
-In the upright/folded position the 'base tube' is sitting on the ground. It is powder coated but otherwise unprotected. Over time scratches will lead to rust. I would advise covering the bottom of the 'base tube' to prevent scratches. Rubber, flexible plastic tubing, etc. Anything that will protect it but not trap moisture. I agree with him - it's minor but when so much thought obviously went into this stand, it's strange that Bosch missed this. Nonetheless it's still a great product!

This is truly one of the best miter stands on the market
This stand is a amazing tool that is well built easy to assemble, and solid state. It lifts up and down easier than I could possibly state...my wife can move it around or out of the way with no problem at all. And Bosch Tools listen to the reviews and made some awesome changes. The solid rubber wheels being on of the biggest. If your looking for a stand this is the best hands down for the money.

Just shy of perfect
As others have stated this is an outstanding and versatile stand. For future/current owners here's a few things that you should keep in mind and/or address:
-In the upright/folded position the 'base tube' is sitting on the ground. It is powder coated but otherwise unprotected. Over time scratches will lead to rust. I would advise covering the bottom of the 'base tube' to prevent scratches. Rubber, flexible plastic tubing, etc. Anything that will protect it but not trap moisture.
-The tires are stamped 2.50-4 and are part number 2610013295 (limited availability, $30 range per tire). They appear thick but if something were to happen (whether hole or leak) I hope to find a suitable aftermarket replacement of solid rubber. Another site's reviewer mentions a suitable replacement found at HF, albeit adding washers to keep wheel off the frame.
The cons are minor in comparison to what this stand does and how it functions. Overall I'm extremely pleased with the purchase.

If you own a Bosh Miter Saw you need this stand.
I had owned a Bosch 10" sliding miter for a couple of years and have carried it out of my shop, hauled to worksites and sat it on my truck tailgate or saw horses or on what ever I could to get it up to a working height. No more. I can now wheel it up my shop steps, run it up portable ramps and tie it down in my truck bed or run it across the lawn by myself. My back says thank you. I think the only thing that might dis-sued someone from buying this, it is pricey.
