Good while it lasted
I bought this product about two years ago. I loved it right off the bat. It worked well and the fact that it was cordless made it even better. At that time I was in maintenance and I used it mainly for cutting door trim to install new floors. I used this product for about 1 week. It was working one minute and the next it stopped. This was extremely disappointing. At that point I threw the tool in the box and forgot about it until recently. This seems like a good product but for me it turned out to be a disposable tool.

Tool will not hold up
I run a part time handyman business and NEVER leave home without the tool. It seems like I used the tool daily. After 2+ years, the tool quit working. The plastic drive bushing failed. Per Bosch, my only options were to replace the drive for more than the price of a new tool or buy a new tool. Either way,the plastic bushing will fail again after it has been in service for awhile. Bosch has either engineered a limited life span in the tool or they have a design flaw. Either way I am off to buy a new tool - probably not a bosch since I can't trust it to work ..

Don't leave home without it
I have had this tool for over a year mostly to put sheetrock and it has been a life saver. I do network installs and constantly have to install LV boxes in walls and the time that this tools saves me is unmeasurable. I have used it to cut almost everything from sheet metals, nails, wood, plastics and many more. I never leave to a site with out it.

Great at first.
Bought this tool and loved it for the first year. Used primarily on drywall and trimming door casing for flooring. One day it was working great and then just stopped oscilating. I was in the middle of a job with no time to stop so I opened it up to find a Nylon bushing between the cutting head and the motor had completely melted. Went to bosch to get replacement only to find they no longer sell them. found one at a european parts website but was not sure about safety so mixed some 2 part epoxy and glued it together. Its been almost 6 months and its still going strong.
