Great saw
I have read some reviews on this saw that said the blade release mechanism can get jammed. Bosch includes special instructions on how to release it in this case, so I don't consider this an issue.
The saw is fast and smooth, and easy to hold. I've had no problem cutting with it. It blows more dust around than my previous jigsaw, but this is because it purposefully blows dust out of the way as you cut, so that you can see lines.

Great Tool for the Price!
Several weeks ago, I bought my first ever Bosch product. I was looking for a combination of good quality and a fair price. I found it in this 6-Amp Keyless T-Shank Variable Speed Corded Jigsaw at Lowes. It does everything well and is very easy to change blades. Anyone who can't figure it out probably shouldn't be using power tools. Bill

Excellent saw , and easy to use tool-less blade change feature
I purchased this tool after burning out 3 competitors jigsaws in as many years. After using it almost daily for more than 20 years as a flooring contractor, I can say it is worth every penny I paid and more.
The tool-less blade change is has worked flawlessly.
This saw works as well today as it did when I bought it, which is impressive since I've dropped it onto concrete from off my table saw
dozens of times.
It doesn't look pretty anymore, but there is no need to replace it.
When it does die, another Bosch will replace it

Not worth a penny
I recieved this jigsaw (JS260) as a gift. Tried to use it for the first time and after 30 min. of trying to get a blade in it, I did some research and found that it does not take Bosch U-shank blades. Ok. I tried a standard T-shank blade and after an hour of bloody fingers, internet research and instruction book reading, I realized that I, and hundreds of others willing to express their disappointment in Bosch on line, had gotten an lemon. Their innovative tool-less blade change system is worthless and the engineer who came up with the JS260 jigsaw probably should be fired. Very disappointed with my first and last experience with Bosch!
Most frustrated experience I have had in years.
