great verstility
I am a renovation carpenter and this laser is a real time saver. I is very helpful with flooring and framing layout. the line is a bit dim in daylight, and seems to get kind of thick after 20 feet or so. that seems to be the only downfall.

Cabinet Installer
I purchased this laser in January. I have nothing but good to say about the laser. I can't imagine going back to installing cabinets without it. It's easy to use. I used to worry about getting the fridge area plumb. Not any more, just put on the vertical plumb line and there is no guessing. The one thing i like is that it is easy to set up. In a matter of minutes I can see any problems that wouldn't have popped up till later. Big time saver.

Brilliant on site time saver.
This is a fantastic little bit of equipment. Fantastic indoors. I'm just waiting for an electronic sensor for outdoor work.
The only feature I would recommend changing is the power slide switch. It's too firm and notchy to use without the problem of accidentally shifting the unit out of position during the day.
A softer power button on top would be a fair amount better.
Otherwise everyone loves this little sucker. It's great. People see it and they fall in love.

Great for do DIY and Pros
This laser is a definite time saver. Bosch has great videos on youtube that show some of the uses for their laser line. The device is by default set to shut off after 20-30 minutes of continuous use. That is a great battery saving feature. To override this just press and hold the button that activates the laser line(s) for roughly 3-5 seconds: Once the laser line(s) briefly flash, that is the indication that the auto-off is de-activated. I attempted to look at other brands but the 3 year warranty (granted by Bosch because I registered the iten) set this item aside from the rest.
