Just can't do without it!
The more you use this the more jobs you will need it for. It is
the best at so many applications. Don't know how I did without
for so long. Make sure to get the hard case and extention they
are both invaluable. We use a lot of Bosch Tools but this one
they hit out of the park!!

Great, well built, precise but pricey angle finder
I have tried many other angle finders and this one, although more expensive, is clearly better built.
I admit that initially it is confusing to understand exactly which angle you're measuring and how to apply that measurement to what you're doing but this is true of any angle finder. Once you wrap your head around each measuring mode it is clear how to use each measurement. Also keeping in mind that any miter saw is set to zero to cut a 90 degree angle helps significantly. All this is well covered in the instructions.
It would be helpful if the extension for obtuse angles was built in. I fear I'm going to lose it or break it when installing it.

Not The Tool I Had Hoped it to Be
I was very excited to use this tool but found out fast that it is very confusing to use and to make matters worse, it's measurement style doesn't coincide with my miter saw's angles.
Where this tool registers 90 degrees, my miter saw is zero degrees and while that only requires a little simple math to figure, it doesn't fail to confuse me now and again causing me to curse myself and the tool that was supposed to make my job easier.
In figuring the cut angles of crown, it does this very well and accurate but requires me to re-read the instructions every time as the process is overly complicated.
I have also found the tool to be too large for many angle finding tasks even when used with the supplied sliding extension (which can also lead to some angular confusion if you aren't careful). On top of that, the tools pivot is rounded instead of pointed causing you to have to go back and extend out any layout lines to find the beginning point.
On the other hand, it is VERY accurate and finds angles to the tenth of a degree. But at a pretty steep cost.

Very Handy Tool
I don't use this angle finder everyday but it sure comes in handy when the need arises. I've found it to be very accurate for both inside and outside angles The price is a little on the steep side but you get what you pay for and in my opinion Bosch is worth the extra money.
