Worth it
I've owned an inexpensive tabletop saw for years and only recently became interested in doing hobby projects that require accuracy and some versatility. I quickly realized these were not possible with the old saw so I researched what would fit my limited garage space and budget. The 4100-09 Bosch Saw has been outstanding. Very accurate, well designed, solidly built and easily upgraded with accessories such as extension sliders, dado sets, zero clearance inserts, etc. I found that upgrading the blade helped a lot.
The gravity rise stand makes moving and storing the saw very easy to do. The ability to easily raise and lower the riving knife and add or remove the safe-guard is also a big plus. It was a big hassle before.
All in all I'm very glad I bought the saw.

Kid in a candy store
This was the very first Bosch tool that I bought about two years ago. I have since started replacing quite a few items in my arsenal with Bosch, based on this experience (drill driver, impact driver, jigsaw, circular saw, hammer drill).
After getting out my digital reader and allocating a few hours to adjust my new saw, I discovered that it travelled around the world and stayed completely accurate. The fence is great - figured that I'd have to upgrade and still haven't found the need. The blade guard is easily removed, although it doesn't get in your way when you need it.
It took a little bit of time to assemble the gravity rise fence that came with mine (TS2000) but it helped me appreciate the quality of materials used with their products. The stand makes moving the saw easy, and has adjustable levelers on the bottom for uneven surfaces. There are no vibrations whatsoever. Very pleased.

Exceeded my Expectations
I have a garage shop, so a full size table saw was out of the question. I have owned a fully loaded Delta contractors saw and Unisaw, so my expectations are on the high side. I was nervous about buying this saw given my experience with other brand's portable power tools. I have to say that this saw & stand have exceeded my expectations. I don't cut sheet goods down with it, but for my number one use (ripping)...It can't be beat. I installed a freud thin kirf rip blade and a Leecraft Zero clearance insert, and the results are nothing less than phenomenal!!! It is accurate and the stand makes storage a breeze. I really appreciate the on board storage, and the blade guard and riving nice are suberb. I love this saw, and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a table saw for ripping or cutting less than full sized sheet goods. I would recommend a full size cabinet saw or, one of the plunge cut & guide rail saws for ripping down sheet goods. Great Product!

compact easy to move good saw
I find this saw to be very effective in a small shop environment. when folded up it stores against the wall taking up little space. when in use it does a very good job. I find the fence very smooth and accurate.I added the DC10 digital fence readout which makes setting up a snap. The only cons are with the dust collection, even hooked up to a vac, it is barely adequite, and there is a lot of dust in the air.
