JS260 and JS365 offer power and precision for professional results

LAS VEGAS, July 20-23, 2011 – Bosch Power Tools & Accessories, the inventor of the jig saw, is adding new entry-level and mid-level models to its professional jig saw line—the 6.0 Amp JS260 and 6.5 Amp JS365. Both models are ergonomic, easy-to-use and designed for precision, durability and reliability. Bosch engineered these new models with the smallest details in mind.

Both the JS260 and JS365 include tool-less blade-change systems that enable faster blade insertion and removal. In addition, both models have blade-clamping systems that firmly grip the blade and prevent unintended pull-out. Each model includes a variable-speed dial, which sets the maximum speed, and an accelerator trigger switch, which controls operating speed. They also include four orbital-action settings that adjust different blade strokes for smooth to aggressive cuts. The precision-machined plunging mechanism and low-vibration designs yield enhanced accuracy and extremely smooth operation. An ergonomic top handle and two-finger trigger makes for a versatile, comfortable grip. Finally, both the JS260 and the JS365 feature an ambidextrous lock-on button for steady long cuts and user comfort and control.

The JS260 includes a heavy-gauge steel footplate and on-board bevel wrench storage. The JS365 includes a sturdy die-cast aluminum footplate with a steel insert and on-board bevel wrench storage.

The JS365 is compatible with Bosch’s wide array of attachment accessories, which include a dust extraction kit, vacuum hoses, a circle and parallel cutting guide and more.

The JS260 ($99) includes a blade, bevel wrench, anti-splinter insert and carrying bag. The JS365 ($129) includes a no-mar overshoe, blade, bevel wrench, anti-splinter insert and case. Both jig saws are available through authorized retailers nationwide. To find out more or to find a local dealer, visit www.boschtools.com or call 877-BOSCH-99 (877-267-2499).
