Tools Feature Precision Control II Technology for Enhanced Accuracy

Mount Prospect, Ill., June 14, 2012 – From the inventor of the jig saw comes two, new top-of-the-line tools: the Bosch JS572E Top-Handle Jig Saw and JS572EB Barrel-Grip Jig Saw. With an unmatched combination of accuracy, power, comfort and convenience, these jig saws leave little to be desired and will become the “gold standard” in professional jig saws.

Bosch’s patented, new Precision Control II system features double-roller blade guides in a gold-colored guidance assembly to provide even more accuracy than the previous Precision Control system. Its additional, upper roller minimizes deflection both above and below the lower roller, and its auto-centering function self-adjusts to help keep the blades firmly within the rollers, even during strenuous cuts.

Bright, switchable LEDs on the JS572E and JS572EB, together with a switchable dust blower, provide superior visibility. A tool-less blade change system allows for faster insertion of T-shank blades, and a blade ejection lever eliminates the need to touch a hot blade. Bosch invented the T-shank blade, and this is the newest jig saw blade clamping system from Bosch.

Finally, the new saws both feature a tool-less die-cast magnesium footplate for fast and easy bevel cutting.

With a 7.2 amp rating, both tools have the power needed for virtually any jig saw application encountered by fine carpenters, cabinet makers, kitchen installers, trade show builders, residential builders, mechanics, renovators and more.

A variable-speed dial allows users to select the desired operating speed, and the top-handle saw also features an accelerator trigger to allow adjustment from the saw’s lowest speed to the operating speed as set on the dial. Bosch Constant Response circuitry maintains the desired cutting speed for consistent performance, and an optimized, compact counterbalancing mechanism reduces tool vibration.

Both tools are ergonomically designed for added comfort. The JS572EB includes an upfront soft-grip area and boasts the smallest barrel-grip jig saw diameter on the market. The JS572E includes a two-finger trigger switch and an ambidextrous lock-on button for easy operation.

The JS572EL and JS572EBL kits each retail for about $299 and include the brand’s new line of L-Boxx cases, which stack and latch together for easy transport, as well as dust collection kits and steel footplate overshoes. Both tools are available now through authorized dealers nationwide. The JS572EN and JS572EBN kits have a simplified set of contents and will be available in August and retail for about $249.
